Making art the long way around.
Hi — I'm Taylor. I've been drawing since I could hold a pen, but I'm just now learning what it means to take it seriously. I mostly work in black-and-white ink — sketches and studies from life — and I'm slowly teaching myself digital art on the side.
I love the loose, honest lines of a sketchbook page, and I'm chasing the same feeling in my digital work. Lately I've been adding little bits of color, working on a first collection of repeating surface patterns, and putting together what I hope becomes a real freelance practice.
The dream: a small, sustainable art business. Commissions, illustrations, patterns on fabric — all made carefully, by one person, on purpose.
